Day 3 of vaping withdrawal. Does it get better from here?

Original post

Day 3 without vaping and I feel like I got hit by a truck. Headache that will not quit, irritable as hell, and I keep reaching for my pocket out of habit even though there is nothing there. Anyone else remember day 3 being the worst, or does it get better from here.

Day 3 was rock bottom for me too, and yes it gets better. For me the headaches and irritability peaked right around hour 60 to 72 and then dropped off fast over the next 4 days. By day 10 the cravings were shorter and further apart instead of constant. What helped most was drinking a lot more water than usual and keeping my hands busy, since so much of vaping is the hand to mouth habit and not just the nicotine.

I am on day 9 now and can confirm day 3 through 5 were the roughest stretch for me too. My sleep got weird as well, vivid dreams and waking up around 4am for almost a week straight. It does level out, just give it another 4 or 5 days and track how you feel today versus 3 days ago instead of versus yesterday alone.
