Day 3 of MDMA withdrawal. Does it get better from here?

Original post

Day 3 since my last MDMA use and I feel completely flat, like nothing brings any real joy right now. Some brain fog too and trouble focusing at work. Is this the low point or does it stick around longer than a few days.

That flat, foggy feeling is really common around day 2 to 4 after MDMA use, some people call it the midweek low because serotonin needs time to rebuild. For most people it starts lifting by day 5 or 6 and mood evens out over the following 2 weeks. Sleep, food, and sunlight made a bigger difference for me than I expected, and getting through work on day 3 specifically was the hardest part.

I felt the exact same flatness after a weekend where I used more than usual. Mine lasted closer to a full 7 days before I felt normal again, so it can vary a lot depending on how much was used and how often. Hang in there, it does pass, just maybe a bit slower for some people than others.
