Which part of LA is easiest to get a detox bed in?

Trying to get my brother into a detox bed this week and every place I call in our part of LA either has no beds or won't call back. Is there an area of the county where beds actually open up faster, even if it means driving him further? At this point I'd rather deal with a longer drive than another day of nothing.

Central LA and the mid-city area tend to move faster just because there are more licensed beds packed into a smaller area, so more openings cycle through per week. When we were looking for my partner, the places near Koreatown and downtown had shorter waits than anything we called out toward the Antelope Valley, where there just aren't as many facilities to begin with. I'd call the county access line first and specifically ask them which contracted facilities have same-day openings, since they can see availability across providers instead of you calling one by one.

We ended up going the opposite direction and found an opening out in the South Bay when everything closer in kept saying no beds. It might just be luck depending on the day, but casting a wider net across different parts of the county instead of sticking to one area got us a bed within about a day. Worth calling a handful of spots in different areas at the same time instead of waiting on one region to open up.
