How bad was fentanyl detox for you, honestly?

I'm two days out from my last dose and everyone keeps telling me the worst is coming. Right now I've got the sweats, my legs won't stop moving, and I haven't slept more than an hour at a stretch. Is day 3 or 4 actually as bad as people say, or does it depend on how long you were using?

It was rough but not the worst withdrawal I've been through, oxy detox hit me harder honestly. The restless legs and stomach cramps were the main thing for me, and I lost about four pounds in the first week from not eating much. What helped was having someone around at night since that's when the anxiety spiked the worst for me.

For me day 3 was the worst by far, worse than anything I expected going in. The muscle cramps in my calves and lower back were constant and nothing helped except the medication the nurses gave me every few hours. By day 6 I could actually sleep for a full stretch again, and by day 10 I felt mostly human, just tired and a little foggy. Honestly the hardest part wasn't the physical stuff, it was the cravings that hit hardest around day 4 and 5.
